After more than 20 years in the high-end residential design industry, Julia saw that what people really needed wasn’t just a beautiful kitchen or clever storage. It was someone who could connect the dots. Someone who could bring creative vision, technical knowledge, and a trusted network of highly skilled craftsmen into one experience. 

Room by Julia Brown is built around the idea that beautiful spaces should fit your lifestyle, not just the room plan. 

Our process brings your vision to life through thoughtful design and expertly crafted cabinetry. Every element, from the flow of a room to the feel of a handle, is considered with care and intention. 

Working independently, Julia draws on her experience and close relationships with specialist makers to deliver custom-made spaces that feel effortless, personal, and built to last, without the overheads or inflexibility of a traditional showroom.
